We recently received the Little Tikes Classic Doll Buggy Toy and I think better options exist in the doll stroller world.
The Classic Buggy does have a few redeeming features. The handle height is perfect for Thing 2 who is almost 18 months. The huge base and low handle height will make a nice walker for young toddlers. The plastic is durable and easy to clean. Would make a nice permanent outdoor stroller for those with an appropriate yard or neighborhood. Although I am usually a big fan of Little Tikes toys I believe they missed the mark when it comes to this buggy. First off the most important feature in any strollers is the push and this one is not that good. The wheels stick and do not roll as easily as advertised. The seat of the stroller is small. Thing 2 used the stroller with Baby Stella, an average sized doll and she looked a bit too cozy in the buggy. Lastly the stroller is huge.
I believe there are better buggies to be found for dolls. Space is at a premium in our playroom these days and this buggy doesn’t have enough features to warrant its size. For those looking for a doll pram this Christmas check out Hollie’s top picks for some better options.
